If you haven’t yet, make sure to check out my list of drugstore dupes for high-end foundations
Whether you’re looking to brighten, detoxify or infuse your skin with moisture, there’s no shortage of top-notch face masks at the drugstores these days.
However, please note that these drugstore skincare dupes have pretty similar but not the exact same active ingredients as the luxury brands and in some cases, the feel & texture of the formulas can also be slightly different.
So, even though these drugstore face masks are not exact dupes, they offer the same great benefits for your skin…without the hefty price tag and fancy packaging of course! It’s all about the formula, not the brand or price.
Here are the affordable alternatives for 10 high-end face masks that will pamper and perfect your skin without costing a fortune!
1. Splurge: Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial ($80)
Save: The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution ($7.20)
Dull skin giving you the doldrums? Drunk Elephant’s TLC Babyfacial is just what you need for the ultimate pick-me-up! This innovative at-home “facial” contains a whopping pro-quality 25% AHA blend (glycolic, tartaric, lactic, and citric acids) and 2% BHA (salicylic acid) that gently but efficiently resurfaces skin as it exfoliates, smooths texture and gets the grime out of your pores!
Even better, this AHA/BHA peel is power-packed with a soothing antioxidant complex, redness-fighting niacinamide, hyaluronic acid plus chickpea flour for brightening. The result? Fresh, glowing, baby-soft skin in just 20 minutes!
If you want to save yourself some serious cash, go for The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution that also works like a professional peel in a bottle!
The formula is in fact more powerful with a blend of 30% Alpha Hydroxy Acids (Glycolic/Lactic/Tartaric/Citric), 2% Beta Hydroxy Acid (Salicylic Acid), Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin B5 and Tasmanian Pepperberry (to reduce irritation).
It doesn’t have as many good-for-your-skin ‘extras’ like potent antioxidants and plant extracts but for under $10, this one is practically a skincare steal! You may want to steer clear though if you have really sensitive skin.
2. Splurge: DIOR Hydra Life Glow Better Fresh Jelly Mask ($69)
Save: Vichy Double Glow Peel Face Mask ($20)
Dior’s gel-mask is like a spa facial in a jar that softens, exfoliates and brightens, leaving your skin with a healthy glow! It pulls double duty by offering a gentle AHA peel from fruit extracts (blueberry, sugar cane, orange, lemon, sugar maple) and a physical scrub from apricot kernel particles.
Great for anyone with dull and uneven skin tone/texture, this refreshing face mask gets you glowing but the price tag…ouch!!
On the drugstore front, Vichy’s face mask gives you the same results (glowing, luminous skin) for a fraction of the price!
This mask also offers double-peel exfoliating action with the exact same AHA fruit acids (from blueberry, sugar cane, maple sugar, orange and lemon) and volcanic rock particles provide physical scrubbing for refined skin texture.
3. Splurge: FARMACY Honey Potion Renewing Antioxidant Hydration Mask ($56)
Save: Bliss In the Honey Mega Moisturizing Lavender Honey Mask ($16)
This moisturizing face mask is a spa-like treat for dry skin! It features an intensely moisturizing combination of honey, propolis extract (an antiseptic found in beehives), glycerin and amino acid-rich royal jelly.
The skin soothing formula warms and transforms to a rich cream as it’s massaged into the skin. Leave on for 10 to 15 minutes, then rinse off and voila…you will love the skin you’re in!
The Bliss honey mask feels just as indulgent and intensely moisturizing! Enriched with acacia honey, propolis extract, glycerin, antioxidant-rich cocoa seed extract and lavender oil, it melts in for an instant boost of hydration and leaves skin feeling oh-so-soft and supple! Also available at Target.
4. Splurge: FRESH Umbrian Clay Purifying Mask ($58)

Designed to reduce oiliness and blemishes, Fresh’s Umbrian clay mask helps to balance, purify and clarify your complexion. It mattifies skin and cleanses deeply while reducing the appearance of pores…just perfect for combination to oily skin types!
For about a third of the price, Pixi’s mask is a great alternative! It is also a purifying clay mask that offers the same skin-clarifying and oil-absorbing benefits. The mineral-rich treatment also draws out impurities and fights breakouts while giving a brightening boost to your complexion.

Enriched with natural pink clay and jojoba extract, Dior’s creamy clay mask deeply purifies, gently eliminates impurities and mattifies. It makes your skin feel velvety smooth and pores refined in just 3 minutes…like an instant facial!
But if you are not up for the splurge, try Origins pink clay mask that has a similar set of ingredients, including Mediterranean rose clay and exfoliating jojoba beads, plus Canadian willow herb to refine pores and restore your skin’s natural radiance.
Just like Dior’s version, it also deep cleans gently and absorbs excess oil, leaving you with a smooth and clear complexion.
7. Splurge: Dior Hydra Life Jelly Sleeping Mask ($69)
Save: Laneige Water Sleeping Mask ($25)
Dior’s jelly sleeping mask is all about providing deep soothing hydration overnight so that you wake up with soft and radiant, glowing skin. It has an ultra-lightweight jelly-water texture with a no-rinse formula that’s suitable for all skin types.
However, if you don’t want to commit to the $69 price point, choose Laneige Water Sleeping mask that does the exact same thing! The cooling gel mask delivers high doses of hydration to recharge stressed, dehydrated skin while you sleep.
More to love, it has a calming and relaxing scent infused with orange flower, rose, and sandalwood that’s heavenly!

Andalou Naturals Pumpkin mask does the same thing for a fraction of the price! Infused with a decadent blend of vitamin C, manuka honey, glycolic acid and pumpkin puree that’s rich in beta-carotene, this mask is also a brightening formula. It exfoliates and smooths while moisturizing to leave your complexion looking bright and beautiful!
9. Splurge: GLAMGLOW Powermud Dualcleanse Treatment ($59)
Save: Honest Beauty 3-In-1 Detox Mud Mask ($22)

Honest Beauty’s luxurious mud mask is a great affordable alternative that helps detoxify and remove impurities with a blend of natural refined clays, volcanic ash and activated charcoal.
Post-detox, your skin feels soft and luminous – thanks to a nourishing blend of plant oils like sea buckthorn and lavender oil, aloe, Manuka honey and shea butter.
10. Splurge: REN Glycol Lactic Radiance Renewal Mask ($55)
Save: Pixi Peel and Polish ($24)
