Now that we have covered the formulation aspect of Axis-Y Complete No-Stress Physical Sunscreen, let’s get to my review and see how it feels and performs…
Axis-Y Complete No-Stress Physical Sunscreen comes in a tube packaging with a precise dispenser that makes application easier. Texture-wise, this sunscreen has a lightweight lotion formula that’s easy to blend and doesn’t feel sticky, tacky or greasy.
It goes on smooth and absorbs quickly with a natural matte finish that isn’t drying or chalky. Truly, it feels barely there on my skin with no greasiness at all! On my dry skin, I do not find this sunscreen hydrating and I make sure my skin is well moisturized before applying it.
Those with combination to oily skin will especially love this sunscreen’s elegant light texture that doesn’t feel thick or heavy on the skin. You won’t have to worry about any greasy residue with this SPF! Also, it layers well under makeup.
This sunscreen does leave a slight white cast initially but it goes away almost completely after a few minutes. However, for those with darker skin tones, the minor white cast might still be noticeable for a bit longer time.
Bottom Line
If you’re looking for a reef-safe, purely mineral sunscreen with high SPF that delivers gentle and effective sun protection with minimal white cast, no flakiness, pilling, stickiness or dryness, AXIS-Y Complete No-Stress Physical Sunscreen is sure to please!
Not to mention, it also contains beneficial skincare ingredients like 2% Niacinamide (to improve uneven skin tone), mugwort, antioxidants like green tea and chamomile, plus hydrating squalane.
It’s also budget-friendly at $23 for a 1.69 fl.oz /50ml and cruelty-free as well! Available for purchase at axis-y.com
