New from Peach & Lily, Retinal For All Renewing Serum is a powerful retinal treatment designed for sensitive skin. It features a potent dose of 0.1% retinal, the most powerful non-prescription retinoid available, and ectoin — a revolutionary anti-inflammatory molecule that stops retinoid-induced inflammation before it starts.
Peach & Lily founder Alicia Yoon struggled with eczema and has very sensitive skin, so she set out to create a retinoid treatment that is potent, stable and effective, while also being gentle enough for those with sensitive skin.
Retinal For All Renewing Serum is formulated with stabilized retinal that works to smooth, lift, firm and brighten 11X faster than traditional retinol treatments, while ectoin reduces irritant-inducing IL-4R skin cell receptors by 82.6%. In addition to ectoin, the fragrance-free formula relies on other soothing ingredients like ceramide complex and heartleaf extract (a staple in Korean skincare) to neutralize the irritating effects of retinal.

Peach and Lily Retinal For All Serum Review
The first thing you’ll notice about this serum is its bright yellow hue—which is because of the potent retinal. However, it doesn’t leave a yellow tint or cast on your face and blends into your skin quickly without any issue.
Texture-wise, this serum has a lightweight creamy consistency and it absorbs easily without any stickiness. I also like that it’s fragrance-free!
I have naturally dry skin so I follow up with a rich hydrating cream to make sure my skin is well-moisturized. It is recommended to use a moisturizer after this serum for all skin types, including oily and acne-prone, to avoid any potential dryness or irritation.
I have been incorporating Peach and Lily Retinal For All Serum in my night routine twice a week for about a month now and didn’t experience any irritation or dry, flaky skin.
That said, retinal is a potent version of retinoids, so if you do experience any irritation, you should cut back on the frequency of use. Everyone’s skin is different and will react differently, so always introduce new products slowly!
If it’s your first time using a retinoid, you should start by using it only once a week at night and then gradually increase usage to few times a week.
With consistent use, this serum helps reduce fine lines and wrinkles, smooth skin texture and brighten skin for a more even-toned complexion – all without disrupting the skin barrier. You can expect to start seeing noticeable results in about 4-6 weeks without any flakiness, redness and irritation.
Bottom Line
Peach and Lily Retinal For All Serum is great for all skin types, and even for those with sensitive skin who have not been able to use other retinal or retinol products because of concerns about potential irritation.
It’s potent, stable and effective yet gentle enough for sensitive skin. And the formula is alcohol-free, fragrance-free, vegan and cruelty-free. Not to mention, this serum is also reasonably priced at $55 for such a well-formulated anti-aging serum with an impressive ingredient lineup.
Available for purchase at Ulta Beauty and peachandlily.com for $55.
