Did you know that the popular European brand Geek & Gorgeous skincare now has a US website? Their products are so affordable and effective! I heard about it recently and purchased a few things. I had used their best-selling Vitamin C serum before and loved it, but all the other products I tried for the first time.
Geek & Gorgeous C-Glow Serum ($14)
This is a super-light, water-like serum with 15% pure Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) plus extra antioxidants (Ferulic Acid + Vitamin E) to boost collagen, fade dark spots and improve uneven skin tone & texture while protecting your skin against free-radical damage, Suitable for all skin types, the formula is fragrance and essential oil free.
I love its water-like, weightless liquid texture that absorbs very quickly without a sticky or tacky feel. It does have that typical vitamin C serum scent but it fades right away. Vitamin C serum is ideal to use in the morning before sunscreen to get the most out of the antioxidant effects, but it can be applied in the PM as well.

This formula uses a low pH and extra antioxidants to help stabilize Vitamin C. The brand recommends to keep your serum bottle in the fridge to increase its shelf-life. This is such an effective and affordable vitamin C serum and I am really loving it! However, if you have sensitive, redness-prone skin, the C-Glow serum might not be the right option for you due to its low pH and high pure ascorbic acid content.
Geek & Gorgeous Porefectly Clear 2% Salicylic acid Serum ($8.60)
This is a light gel exfoliant with 2% Salicylic acid (BHA) that helps unclog pores, clear blackheads, and improve the appearance of enlarged pores. It also contains Sarcosine that helps normalize excess oil production. This is a great product for oily and combination skin types.
I have dry skin but got this because I struggle with large pores. So far I am really liking this serum! It has a lightweight gel texture (not at all sticky or tacky) that layers nicely under other serums and/or creams. It can be used once a day or every other day in the AM or PM.
Geek & Gorgeous Happier Barrier ($11.80)
This is a nourishing yet lightweight moisturizer with 7% Squalane to lock in moisture, plus a 3% skin-identical lipid mixture that works in synergy with 0.1% pure Ceramide 2 for a healthy skin barrier and silky-soft skin. The formula also contains a healthy dose of antioxidant rich green tea extract along with soothing Allantoin and Bisabolol.
This is a beautiful lightweight moisturizer that hydrates skin really well without being heavy or greasy. It’s great for all skin types, including acne-prone skin.
Geek & Gorgeous Jelly Joker ($9.90)
This is a gentle, non-foaming, jelly textured cleanser designed to cleanse the skin thoroughly without drying it out or disrupting the skin barrier. Contains two gentle, yet effective surfactants to cleanse and dissolve (water-soluble) makeup. It does not sting the eyes, and is great for all skin types, including sensitive skin.
All of the Geek & Gorgeous skincare products are cruelty-free, vegan, fragrance and essential oil free, and also gluten-free.
Which of these products will you be trying first? I highly recommend the Geek & Gorgeous C-glow serum. I am sure you will love it as much as I do!
