As expected from Urban Decay, this eyeliner has a creamy-soft texture and highly pigmented formula with a rich and vibrant color payoff that stays put. I purchased 2 shades: MELTED ONYX (deep matte black) and ROUGH WAVES (deep matte teal) Both the shades are packed with pigment and truly budge-proof with all day staying-power!
I also like the built-in blending brush that makes it easy to diffuse the color for a softer, smoky eye effect. Just make sure to blend quickly as the formula sets really fast!
I have been using the deep black shade on my waterline and I’m impressed how it gives me great pigment payoff in one swipe! And the color lasts really long even on my waterline without giving me racoon eyes or causing any irritation, so the formula is waterline-approved and suitable for sensitive eyes.

Now let’s talk about the retractable, slanted-angled precision tip! It’s designed to glide on smoothly and make the application easy. However, I am not happy with how it just breaks so easily! I didn’t apply too much pressure at all but still the tip for both these eyeliners just broke after one use and that’s very frustrating.
In my Instagram reel above, you can see how the black shade tip is broken and the teal one also broke later when I was swatching it (carefully!)
As much as I love the beautifully rich pigmentation and longevity of this eyeliner, I won’t be purchasing these again. I can still use these eyeliners with the broken tip but it’s definitely a deal breaker for me, especially considering the fact that this eyeliner costs $26 each.
