Murad Absolute Bronzing Boost SPF 15, one of the latest offerings by Murad, is an oil-free cosmetic bronzer meant to use over your sunblock to enhance skin’s glow with a healthy bronze tone.

I have used powdered bronzers before but I am pretty new to liquid bronzing. When I first poured out a little of this product on my fingers, the bronzy liquid looked too dark for my skin. So, I first blended it out on the back of my hand and to my pleasant surprise, it blended easily to give me a really nice bronzy tint with a slight sheen! Here is a swatch :

This bronzer is very pigmented and all it takes is a light sweep to get a touch of color. I just take a few tiny dabs and smooth on my cheeks and whatever is left on my fingers I apply to my forehead and chin. It blends effortlessly to give a soft, bronzy glow and there is no orange tinge what so ever. Sometimes I follow up with a touch of blush on top for a pretty sunny bronzed look that’s much better than a regular boring tan. You could also blend it evenly all-over face and neck for the desired tanned look or for more complete coverage mix in with your foundation.

Considering you need only a small amount of this bronzer for your face, you can very well make good use of the bottle by applying a little to your arms or even legs for a nice tint of color and get that skin glowing! The formula also has SPF 15 and antioxidants to combat UV damage. Since you just need a few dabs for your face, you can’t rely on this product alone as sunscreen but I think it’s always good to have an extra layer of sun protection.

Overall, I am delighted with Murad Bronzing boost SPF 15 is as it applies in a snap (even if you are a bronzer newbie) and delivers a sunkissed glow that looks flattering yet natural! Definitely worth picking up if you like to sport a healthy tan but don’t want to get it by forsaking your skin to the harmful rays of the sun.
