Hey lovelies, today I am back with the second edition of my favorite beauty products of 2011 listing my top picks in the haircare category. Some of these products have been on the market for a while but I discovered them this year and they have all really pleased me with their impressive performance……here they are!
Surface Bassu Gold Hydrating oil – Infused with Argan Oil, Babassu oil, antioxidants and ceramides, this lightweight hair oil has become my absolute favorite leave-in treatment! It smells divine and tames frizzies pretty well leaving my dry hair smooth and shiny without the grease factor. And the all-natural formula is free of alcohol, parabens, sulfates, phthalates and artificial colors.
f450° One Pass Hot Iron Activated Smoothing Crème – Meet my new flat iron buddy! With this product on my side, I do not feel as guilty about subjecting my tresses to all the heat torture. Formulated to be used on dry hair just before heat styling, this hot iron activated smoothing cream not only protects your hair from excessive heat but also conditions dry, curly locks for silky-smooth results! And the best part? There are no potentially harmful chemicals (like formaldehyde) or alcohol in this styling product. Winner!
Wen Fig Cleansing Conditioner – This cleansing conditioner ranks as my all-time favorite haircare product. Wen is the only sulfate-free hair cleansing product that really pampers my unruly, dry hair by replenishing them with rich moisture, so they are healthy, soft and easily manageable. It also helps my hair color to last much longer without fading.
Alterna Caviar Anti-Aging Dry Shampoo – What I love the most about this dry shampoo is that its not laden with alcohol and other nasty chemicals like the majority of dry shampoos in the market. It does a great job of refreshing my hair between washings by absorbing excess oil and also revives volume without leaving that dreaded white powdery look after brushing through.
So, this is it! Did you find any haircare gems this year?
I won’t be doing a separate post on my favorite skincare products as I have already covered most of those in my recent post that you can check out here.
