Mineral Fusion Cosmetics Radiance Illuminating Powder is a mineral highlighter quad with four luminous hues to set your skin aglow. Formulated without talc, parabens, artificial colors and fragrances, this illuminating powder also promises age-defying antioxidant protection “infused with Vitamins C and E, pomegranate, red tea, white tea and sea kelp to defend against free radical damage for a healthy radiance”. Great for use on all skin types.
Mineral Fusion Radiance Illuminating powder comes in a pretty little compact and is divided into four shimmery mineral colors : a creamy beige, pure white, light pink and rose.
To apply, swirl the blender brush across all four shades and gently tap to remove excess. Dust lightly on cheekbones and where light naturally hits the face (forehead, nose, chin) to highlight. Brush it on alone, or layer over blush or bronzer for added color and a sunny glow.
The silky mineral-based pressed powder formula with really finely milled shimmer applies smoothly imparting a soft sheen to your complexion. The shimmer is not exactly subtle so I suggest you don’t go overboard with it. Also, I noticed that if used with a heavy hand, all the four colors blended together appear a little too white and icy on my fair-medium skin with warm undertones. So, just apply one light layer of the illuminating powder at a time and then take a quick glance in the mirror to see if you want more layers to achieve shimmering perfection.
Shades may also be used individually on eyes and cheeks for a soft sheen but the individual colors are not terribly pigmented so this highlighter quad won’t double up as a blusher for most skintones except for very fair skinned ladies. I do think the colors in this compact are suitable for most skin tones, though cooler skin tones may find this more flattering than those with particularly warmer undertones. As for the staying power, the glowy goodness doesn’t last very long and fades away in about three-four hours which is a bit disappointing.
Overall, I like this mineral illuminating powder to add a little shimmer and ease the dullness from dull, winter skin but the price point of $27 for 0.28 oz of powder is a little….ouch!

During my teenage life, I used to change make up every time, I saw what is the latest. I have sensitive skin in terms of make up. I used with brand names for me to avoid pimples and acne.
