Have you guys heard of Omorovicza? If not, let me introduce you to this luxurious, Hungary based anti-aging skincare line based on the ‘Art of Mineral Beauty’. Inspired by the healing powers of Budapest’s ancient thermal baths, Omorovicza harnesses the skin-transforming benefits of these mineral-rich thermal waters that’s the principal ingredient in all of their products. According to the line’s founders, “With this pioneering advance, the skin’s collagen and elastin production is boosted and a tighter lipid matrix locks in vital moisture”.
I tried out one of Omorovicza’s products – Gold Sugar Scrub.
With gold particles, cane sugar and ylang-ylang, this divinely scented body scrub gently eliminates dead skin cells and refines the texture of the skin, leaving it radiant and soft.
Gold, a powerful anti-inflammatory, repairs accumulated micro-damage to reduce the appearance of sun damage, fine lines and wrinkles.
Apricot kernel oil, rich in vitamin A, softens the skin.
Capsicum peptide, rich in antioxidant vitamin C, stimulates micro-circulation and promotes a healthy glow.
Fair trade golden cane sugar , thoroughly exfoliating, softens and smoothes, eliminates dead skin and encourages cell regeneration.
Ingredients : Saccharum Officinarum, Glycerin, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Cetearyl Olivate, Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Kernel Oil, Squalane, Saccharomyces/ Capsicum Annum Fruit Ferment Extract, Phenoxyethanol, Sorbitan Olivate, Benzyl Alcohol, Parfum (Fragrance), Linalool, Limonene, Eugenol, Geraniol, Citronellol, Benzyl Benzoate, Curcume Longa (Turmeric) Root Extract, Terminalia Arjuna Bark Extract, Aqua (Hungarian Thermal Water), Saccharomyces (Hungarian Thermal Water) Ferment Extract, Saccharomyces Gold Ferment, Malpighia Punicifolia (Acerola) Fruit Extract, Mica, Phospholipids, Ethylhexylglycerin, Tocopherol, CI 77891 (Titanium Dioxide), CI 77491 (Iron Oxide).
To begin with, I was really fascinated by the fact that this body scrub has real gold particles in it. The gold, which acts as an anti-inflammatory, helps to repair skin and reduce the appearance of sun damage. Now this is exactly what my lacklustre skin needed after the week-long beach vacation I just came back from. The body scrub also contains apricot oil to soften the skin, plus the antioxidant Vitamin C which is a well-known skin-brightening ingredient. No wonder my skin felt so smooth and polished instantly after the first use!
I am usually not a fan of using body scrubs as they can be a bit rough (and sometimes messy too) but that’s not the case with Omoroviza Gold Sugar scrub. The bits of sugar are so fine and exfoliate gently all over without being abrasive. Just apply the scrub on wet skin in bath or shower using circular motion, leave it on for a few minutes and then rinse thoroughly with warm water. The scrub spreads easily on the skin without a greasy feel and rinses off quickly as well, leaving your skin silky-soft with a healthy glow. And not to forget the scent that’s just heavenly….. it awakens my senses when I apply it and even lingers on softly for a while afterwards!
I am totally impressed! Omorovicza gold scrub turns my routine shower into a spa-like experience. Suitable for all skin types, this luxurious, natural exfoliator not only helps soften and smooth your skin but also diminish the signs of sun damage.
At $90 for a 6.67 fl oz tub, Omorovicza’s Gold Sugar Scrub is quite expensive, but then it’s a luxury skin care brand and the prices of the products reflect that. Recommended to be used only once or twice a week, the tub is sure to last a while.
