Say goodbye to dull and uneven skin! With the new Sigma Beauty Cleansing and Polishing Tool you can polish your skin to be perfectly smooth and flawless before and after your makeup application. It contains three unique brush heads specially designed to improve your skin care routine and provide smoother, flawless-looking skin.
I’ve always wanted to try the Clarisonic Mia ($120), but just couldn’t bring myself to splurge on it. So when I was introduced to Sigma’s cleansing and polishing tool that offers the same function at one-third the price, I got all excited! I’ve been testing out this device for a while now and loved it right from the start….
To begin with, I love the packaging! The Sigma beauty tool comes in a sleek pink/white case that not only looks good on the vanity but is also travel-friendly.The device is also water-resistant which makes it easy to use during my morning shower. It comes with three interchangeable brush heads that are very easy to remove and clean.
Soft brush head (all pink)- Recommended for daily facial cleansing and polishing. Suitable for sensitive skin.
Medium brush head (white and pink) – Perfect for daily, all over, body exfoliation.
Firm brush head (all white) – Recommended for deeper body exfoliation of dry areas, such as the elbows, knees and heels. This brush head is not recommended for facial use.
How to use the tool?
For daily facial cleansing start off by removing excess makeup, then apply a small amount of your facial cleanser to the soft brush head and gently work it into your skin with the cleansing and polishing tool. You just need to move the tool across your skin gently and let the rotating head do the work. To exfoliate and polish your skin all-over, simply use the medium or firm brush head. Once you get started, you can adjust your exfoliation routine according to your needs and skin type.
The Sigma Beauty Tool allows for two different rotation speeds – click the button once for regular speed and click again for high speed. If you have very sensitive skin or find that skin gets easily irritated by scrubbing, I’d recommend using the low speed setting. For my face, I stick to the soft brush with the low speed rotation and find it good enough for thorough cleansing/polishing.
I have sensitive skin and being new to this electronic cleansing system, I started off slow by using it every other day to get a feel for the tool and its intensity, but now I am using it once every day. I won’t recommend using the tool more than once a day as it might be too much for your skin to handle especially if you use other exfoliating skincare products too. Also, make sure to always keep your cleansing and polishing process under one minute and use your favorite moisturizer afterwards.
Overall, I am really happy with the Sigma Cleansing & Polishing tool. Not only does it leave my face thoroughly clean but also makes my skin feel so smooth and refreshed. With an affordable price tag of $39, Sigma beauty tool is definitely worth considering if you are looking for an advanced skincare system to keep you skin in top shape!
The Sigma Cleansing & Polishing Tool is available online at sigmabeauty.com and retails for $39.00. It requires two AA batteries to operate, which aren’t included. You can also purchase Soft, Medium or Firm replacement heads for just $9.00 each when you need to replace the brushes.
Throughout May, you can also get a free gift (exclusive eye shadow sample from one of Sigma’s eyeshadow palettes) with all purchases over $30 at sigmabeauty.com

[…] The first thing I really like is that it feels so much gentler on the skin than the other facial sonic-cleansing brush devices I’ve used before. The smooth and soft silicone brush is nonabrasive enough for daily use. […]
