Radiant Skin Silk Body Lotion is the latest addition to Annmarie Gianni Skincare line of completely natural, organic, and wildcrafted products. It’s been a while I reviewed Annmarie Gianni skincare products so it was a pleasant surprise to receive a sample of their latest offering.

True to its name, this lotion really does have a silky consistency. The texture isn’t thick or sticky and the lightweight formula sinks into my skin pretty quickly without leaving behind a greasy residue. I have been using it as an after shower moisturizer and it keeps my dry skin hydrated all day long but doesn’t feel heavy even at this time of the year when it’s so hot.
The key ingredient of this all-natural body lotion is Sunflower oil that’s highly nourishing being rich in both mono and polyunsaturated fats which give your skin the essential fatty acids it needs to stay hydrated and soft. Sunflower oil is also rich in the antioxidant Vitamin E, which is known to prevent skin damage from the sun and other elements.
The only thing that doesn’t appeal to me is the scent of this product. Radiant Skin Silk is scented with Peru Balsam that’s supposed to be a sweet smell similar to vanilla ….it’s not unpleasant by any means but I am just not too fond of it. Good thing is it’s very light and dissipates soon after applying the lotion so it’s not a problem!
Radiant Skin Silk Lotion retails for $49.95 for 200 ml (6.76 oz) which is definitely on the expensive side. However, it’s a truly natural formula without any chemicals or preservatives (but still lasts for over a year in temperatures over 70 degrees because of the unique blend of oils, herbs and extracts) so worth the splurge for those with sensitive skin.
