I’m back today with the 3rd installment of Jane Iredale’s Fall 2012 collection. I have already talked about the Mystikol eyeliner in Smoky Quartz (love it!) and Just kissed lip plumpers. Now I am reviewing the two blushes…..

Create beautiful, flushed cheeks with Jane Iredale PurePressed Blush. Formulated with nourishing minerals, this blush is free of chemical dyes and potentially irritating ingredients, making it perfect for sensitive skin. Suitable for use on the eyes and lips. Available in a variety of colors so subtle and natural, you’ll look like you’re glowing from the inside out.
The PurePressed Blush formula is super soft and applies well with a medium color-payoff. Both the shades are quite pretty but since I am warm-toned, Whisper (a peachy pink with golden shimmer) is my favorite out of the two. It really brightens up my cheeks and imparts a soft, peachy glow! Although the shimmer appears a little too much in the pan, it blends out nicely leaving behind a lovely sheen on skin. I would say this blush is a subtler version of the NARS Orgasm, it’s just a bit more pink which I like.
Barely Rose is a light rose pink shade that I think is better suited for cooler skin tones. This one doesn’t have any shimmer or sheen. As for the staying power, I get about 4-5 hours of wear time from both shades which is pretty decent.
The only drawback is the price. At $27 each, these are surely on the expensive side. However, if the super-shimmery NARS oragsm hasn’t worked that well for you, Whisper is a great option worth trying out….plus it’s natural and sensitive skin-friendly too!
