Rimmel ScandalEyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal Eyeliners are a new launch from the brand for Spring 2013. Available in 10 different shades, these creamy eye pencils promise high intensity color payoff with a long-wearing formula that’s waterproof, smudge-proof and humidity-proof. They are also supposed to be safe for sensitive eyes.
Honestly, this is the first time I’ve ever tried a Rimmel product but these eyeliners have surely impressed me enough to make me wanna check out more from the brand! First off, they have a creamy smooth formula that glides on effortlessly never pulling or tugging, though not the softest pencils I have tried. The color payoff is fantastic too and one or two swipes is all you need. In terms of wear, they really hold up to the waterproof claim and can withstand humidity, sweat and whatever else your day or night may throw at you!
Once set, the color won’t transfer, smudge or budge until you’re ready to take it off. Even on the waterline, I can easily get a good 4-5 hours of mileage and best of all, the color fades away without giving me raccoon eyes (score!) The two shades that I tried are Turquoise and Brown. I don’t usually wear a lot of blue-ish eyeliners but I’m actually loving this Turquoise that’s a fun shade to add a pop of color to your everyday look! Here are the swatches :
Bottom Line – Rimmel ScandalEyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal Eyeliners are absolutely worth picking up! Not only do they have excellent pigmentation, the waterproof formula also stays put all day long without migrating or smudging. With 10 shades in the range to choose from, you’re sure to find something that you like. And at just $3.69 each, you really can’t go wrong!
