True to its claim, it does leaves skin noticeably soft, smooth and feeling comfortable.
The only thing I didn’t like about this moisturizing body wash is the fish-oil kind of smell that I don’t think I can ever get used to. Thankfully, the smell is noticeable only while in the shower and doesn’t linger around. Overall, a great product to heal and calm bothersome dry, itchy eczema prone skin. Soap-free, dye-free and and fragrance-free, the gentle formula is even appropriate for use on children.
Eucerin Skin Calming Itch Relief Treatment ($7.99) – This body lotion has been specifically formulated to soothe and calm itchy skin flare-ups and provide immediate relief that can last up to 8 hours. Recently I had some sort of an allergic reaction/rash at the back of my hands which left my skin really itchy. Luckily, I got my hands on this lotion around the same time and it really helped to cool down the itch on my irritated skin. The formula is lightweight, non-greasy and soaks in quickly with a cooling menthol effect that feels nice on itchy, irritated skin. It has colloidal oatmeal too in the ingredient list that also helps to soothe and moisturize well. Free of fragrances and dyes, it is also appropriate for use on children and for atopic dermatitis.

Even though the unpleasant smell doesn’t last I would never be able to use something like that. We love Aveeno Skin Relief body wash, my hubby (and kids) have eczema and very dry skin, it’s the only brand that works for us!
