Now that summer is long gone, you’re probably not stocking up on your shaving essentials. But Somersets Extra Sensitive Shaving Oil is the perfect stocking stuffer to give yourself (or your man!) a little holiday pampering!
Unlike chemical soaps and aerosol foams, Somersets is a blend of 100% natural plant oils like Lavender, Rosemary, Sweet Almond and Tea Tree. These essential oils lubricate and soothe the skin for a cleaner, smoother and more invigorating shave. And their natural healing properties help prevent irritation, while leaving the skin feeling refreshed and without nicks, cuts or razor burn. Already popular in the UK and Europe, Somersets is now available in the US.
Ingredients: Hybrid vegetable Oil, Menthol, Fragrance, Aloe Vera, French Lavender Oil , Sandalwood Oil, Evening Primrose Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Safflower Oil, Grapefruit OIl, Tea Tree Oil, Corianda Oil, Palmarosa Oil, Rosemary OIl, Ylang Ylang, Chilean Rosehip Seed Oil.
Just squeeze a few drops of the oil (3-4 drops will do the trick) and massage onto wet skin where you’re going to shave. It really softens the stubble and allows the razor to glide easily over your skin, for a truly comfortable shave without any nicks or irritation. The texture of the oil is so light and non-greasy and doesn’t leave your skin feeling oily or sticky. If you don’t have extra dry skin in winters like me, you might even be able to skip lotion afterwards!
Somersets Extra Sensitive Shaving Oil for Women truly delivers on the promise of a smooth and hydrated shave plus it’s all-natural and affordable ($6.99 for 0.5 fl oz) so you can get away from harsh chemicals, aerosol cans of foam and gel without breaking the bank. I am hooked!
Somersets also has a range of Shaving Oils for Men. Available in Original, Extra Sensitive and Tough Stubble, these luxurious oils will leave his skin smooth and hydrated, making him extra kissable under the mistletoe this year!
Somersets Shaving Oils for Men and Women are available online at somersetsusa.com and drugstore.com as well as Walgreens and retail for $6.99.

These must feel great on the skin! I’ve also found using solid conditioners as a shaving bar works well too!

That’s interesting! I would never have thought oils would work for shaving!

I have never used a shaving oil before. Strangely I always view them as a male-only product but it makes sense that it would apply to women as well.

I’ve never used a shaving oil. I have tried using hair conditioner, and it works well.
