So I took advantage of the recent Zoya promo and snagged three nail polishes for just $12! If you follow me on Instagram, you might have seen a pic of my haul…Zoya Faye is one of those.
Zoya Faye is described as a ‘bronzed mauve with purple and brown undertones flooded with bright gold sparkle’. It has a metallic finish and the opacity level is 4 (1=sheer and 5= opaque), and has both warm and cool tones in it. As with most Zoya polishes, the formula was easy to work with and I found it applied fully opaque with two coats for me. It doesn’t really need a topcoat because of the glistening finish, but you could of course apply one for longevity. I tried hard to capture the color shift and the mauve-plum tones more accurately but my pictures don’t do it justice 🙁
This one is a bit of an oldie from Zoya’s Summer 2011 Sunshine Collection. I had been lusting after it for quite a while now… so happy to finally get my hands on this beauty. It’s a gorgeous, sparkly, purple-bronzey gold-pink fabulosity in a bottle! And being a unique gilded shade, it works for all seasons and can easily be worn all year long.
