It’s Beauty Box 5 time again! The theme of March 2014 Beauty Box 5 is Spring Cleaning – Out with the old, in with the new! The products included focus on the top beauty goal for spring : clean, gorgeous skin.
Not familiar with Beauty Box 5? It is a subscription-based, beauty sampling program that delivers a box filled with 5 cosmetic samples to your door every month. It’s one of the least expensive subscription boxes ($12/month recurring, $30/3 months or $99/year) that includes a mix of 5 travel, deluxe and full-sized samples of makeup, hair care, skin care, nail care, and beauty accessories from luxury and drugstore brands.
Now let’s check out the goodies in March’s Beauty Box 5…..
Jane’s Pick All Natural Soaps – Made from an all-natural blend infused with herbs and flowers, these soaps are handmade and each bar has a unique pattern and relaxing scent. I am usually not a fan of using soaps for my dry skin but like the gentle and moisturizing all-natural formula of this one.
Tree Hut Shea Body Butter Coconut Lime (2oz, sample size) – Extra thick and paraben free, this lotion deep conditions your skin with cocoa and organic shea butter and puts you in the mood to party with lime and coconut extract. The scent is delicious and the travel-size sample is perfect for stashing in your handbag.
H2O Plus Spa Hand & Nail Cream (1 oz , sample size) – This hand cream has a lightweight, non-greasy formula that moisturizes your skin with silk proteins, vitamin E, and marine botanicals. Great for any time of the year. My favorite thing about this hand cream is the fresh and clean scent…..lovely!
Bellapierre Cosmetics Makeup Base (full sized, $18.99 value) This multitasking ivory makeup base serves as a concealer, illuminator, and eyeshadow primer. It’s great for when you are low on time (or room in your purse). I like using this as an eyeshadow base. Nice!
Swissco Dual-sided Facial Pad (full size, $2) – It cleanses with soft terry and exfoliates with natural loofah. Just add your favorite cleanser on the pad and gently buff your skin to cleanse and revitalize. After use, rinse and let dry.
Overall, I liked the March Beauty Box 5. As you can see, it’s mostly an assortment of bath and body products but all the items included are useful.
