TRIND Cosmetics is a Dutch Hand and Nail Care line that has recently launched in North America. The Trind Nail Care product line includes not only a great assortment of nail polishes but also a variety of nail products and treatments to repair and strengthen dry, brittle nails.
Today I have a few shades from the Trind Caring Color line Spring/Summer 2014 collection – Beauty and the Beach. The collection includes 4 pastels and two brights ($13 each).
Here I have Burst my Bubble and Mellow Yellow.
Burst my Bubble is a bubblegum pink crème and Mellow Yellow is a yellow crème. Both of these are such pretty shades for spring and summer. The formula is slightly thick for Burst my Bubble but overall easy to work with and applies well. Although I loved Mellow Yellow being such a fun, bright shade but it did give me a bit of hard time as it felt a bit goopy sometimes and didn’t even out easily for a smooth finish.
This is Surf’s Up…my favorite shade of all the three! It’s just my kind of shade….a lovely, vibrant deep turquoise blue! The formula was also nice and only needed two coats for an even, opaque coverage.
All the Trind Caring colors are free of Dibutyl Phthalate, Toluene, and Formaldehyde
Trind also offers a Keratin Treatment for Nails Kit ($45.95) which is described as a ‘chemical free solution for thin, brittle and chipped nails. It is a mild solution for damaged and overly sensitive nails that have been damaged by wearing artificial nails or from the use of medicines or other environmental influences’.
The Trind Keratin Formula kit consists of two products:
Trind Nail Restorer
Trind Nail Restorer is a light semi transparent liquid and has to be applied on the nails daily. Let soak for two minutes and then rub-in the excess of product into the nail and surrounding skin.
Trind Nail Protector
This liquid product must also to be applied like a top coat. It keeps the “goodies” of the restorer within the nails and protects the nail against outside everyday influences from exposure to the environment. It also contains keratin and can be used as is daily, or as a base coat for colored nail polish.
According to Trind, it takes approximately 4 weeks of daily use to realize the effect and repair damaged, brittle and thin nails perfectly. As I mentioned before, my nails haven’t been in a good shade lately so I have just started using this Keratin Treatment kit and I am liking it so far! I will be posting an update after a few weeks to let you know my results.
