Covergirl Colorlicious Lipgloss is a part of Covergirl’s new #instaGLAM Collection for summer 2014. Available in 13 shades, this lipgloss promises a vibrant shine and rich true-to-tube color with a weightless moisturizing formula.
Dripping with shine, ripe with color! High gloss meets high-impact color for luscious, smoochable lip looks. Our moisturizing formula combines color, gloss, and lip conditioners for a pout that feels soft, smooth and never sticky. Available in 13 trendy shades from Melted Toffee to Pinkalicious. Pucker up!
The Covergirl Colorlicious Lipgloss has a very lightweight, non-sticky texture that glides on smoothly. The formula is nicely moisturizing and wears comfortably with absolutely no tackiness or stickiness. Both the shades I tried are slightly shimmery but don’t have the slightest bit of a gritty feeling that’s usually there with shimmery formulas. Both of them have a smooth, even glossy finish. They have a sweet vanilla flavor and fragrance that fades away quickly after application. As for the pigmentation, it starts on the sheer side but quite easy to build up for a pretty pop of color and shine! This is not a long-lasting formula so the wear time is only about 1 – 2 hours, but that’s typical for most lip glosses.
Take a look at the 2 shades I tried :
Juicy Fruit – It’s a beautiful mauve shade that I think would look great on almost all skin tones! Perfect for everyday wear…..love it!
Craving Cranberries – This is a deep berry shade with pink undertones. It looks dark and daring in the tube, but sheers out to an easy-to-wear soft berry shade on the lips.
Overall, color me impressed with the CoverGirl Colorlicious Lip Glosses ($7.99). I am loving the lightweight, no fuss formula that is not sticky whatsoever… great for these hot summer days! And the shades I tried are gorgeous with a lovely color payoff and shine. The only thing lacking is the staying power which might be a deal breaker for some of you who prefer long-wearing formulas.
What do you think of the new CoverGirl Colorlicious Lip Glosses? Have you tried any of the shades from the range?
