Pür Minerals is a brand that has really been growing on me lately. Not too long ago, I reviewed the Pür Minerals Air Perfection CC Cushion Compact Foundation which is one of my favorites! And I also love their Chateau de Vine Mineral Lipstick. Today I am talking about the Pür Minerals Simplicity Soothing Gentle Cleanser that’s a gentle, hydrating face wash perfect for the colder months.

Finally, there’s a cleanser all skin types can enjoy! Gentle enough for even the most sensitive skin, NEW Simplicity effectively removes dirt, impurities and even makeup without irritation. Free of irritating sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), this no-frills facial wash lushly cleanses, calms and conditions with natural amaranth protein, shea butter and honey extract. Paraben free. Not tested on animals.

First off, I love that this facial cleanser is free of  irritating sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) which, as you guys know, is always a big plus in my books! However, the formula lathers up quite nicely thoroughly washing away dirt, oil and makeup without irritating the skin or drying it out.

You just need a small amount to remove all the gunk and it rinses off  easily too, leaving behind no pore-clogging residue. It leaves my skin totally clean, soft and refreshed – never too dry or tight. The formula has a light, fresh citrus scent that’s quite nice (good thing is that the ingredient list does not have any synthetic fragrances)

Bottom Line

Pür Minerals Simplicity Soothing Gentle Cleanser totally lives up to its name and is really a great option for all skin types. It’s gentle, sulfate-free formula gets all the makeup and impurities off with a rich and luxurious lather that won’t strip the skin of its vital moisture.

Priced at $24 (4 fl oz), it is on the expensive side but if you are in the market for a gentle,  sensitive-skin friendly facial cleanser that’s free of any harsh chemicals, sulfates and parabens (and also cruelty-free), this is a great buy! Pick it up at Ulta.
