I have been trying out the Milani Stellar Lights Highlighter Palette in Rose Glow for a few days now and excited to share my review with you…this is a drugstore highlighting palette well done!
Product Description
Instantly add an incandescent glow anywhere you want shimmer! Stellar Lights Highlighter Palette features a complementary trio of micro-milled, buildable powders that blend seamlessly and leaves a luminous finish. Each richly pigmented shade delivers multi-dimensional highlighting effects, and can be worn alone or together for multiple, the-way-you-like-it, customized looks.
Milani Stellar Lights Highlighter Palette in Rose Glow comes with 3 warm-hued highlighting powder shades with a metallic finish- Pearl (champagne gold), Golden Quartz (soft gold) and Rose Gold (copper pink).
I have dry skin and some powder highlighters tend to cling to my drier areas. They just seem to sit on top of my skin looking cakey, even when I have prepped my skin well. Not this one!
These powder highlighters have a super soft and velvety formula with a finely milled texture that applies and blends very easily. It’s not dusty or chalky and doesn’t accentuate my noticeably large pores or dryness.
All three shades are beautiful and flattering on my skin (I have warmer undertones). They can be worn individually or layered together and the formula is easily buildable…I just use a lighter hand with these powders!
There’s no chunky shimmer, no glitter fall out, and the formula stays put nicely for about 5-7 hours. The finish is smooth and luminous that gives me just the right glow without looking overdone or sparkly.
The shade Golden Quartz (middle one) is the most pigmented…it’s perfect for applying along the bridge of the nose, cheekbones, cupid’s bow and brow bone. And Rose Gold is just as beautiful! Here are the swatches:
Overall, Milani Stellar Lights Highlighter Palette in Rose Glow gets a two thumbs up from me! If you’re not wanting to spend $50+ on a high-end highlighting palette, get this budget-friendly option by Milani that’s sure to please you (and your wallet!)

I have also been trying out the new Milani Prime Protect SPF 30 Face Primer which is a fast-absorbing weightless gel that’s neither chalky nor sticky and glides on seamlessly.
In addition to prepping your skin for makeup, it also provides broad spectrum UVA/UVB sun protection which is always a plus in my books!
This sunscreen-meets-primer goes on with a silky texture and absorbs very quickly, leaving skin smooth and prepped for makeup application.
Not only does it help my foundation apply smoothly but also helps it last much longer! And this primer’s ultra-lightweight texture makes it suitable for all skin types.
Milani Prime Protect SPF 30 Face Primer is definitely worth checking out if you are looking for an easy way to squeeze in an extra dose of weightless sun protection to your makeup routine!
