I received this product complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Hourglass Equilibrium Rebalancing Cream Cleanser is a new facial cleanser that removes impurities and delivers intense hydration, transforming dull and stressed skin with youthful radiance.
This creamy cleanser is a part of the new Hourglass Equilibrium Skincare Collection designed to rebalance, restore and renew the skin barrier for a nourished and smooth complexion.
Ok, confession time! Even though I have dry skin, I love foaming facial cleansers (I know, I know…that’s not really a good choice when you are dealing with dryness!)
But it’s really hard to find a foaming cleanser that’s gentle and doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry afterwards. So, I get really excited when I discover one that’s non-drying and leaves my skin clean and soft at the same time.
Case in point: the new Hourglass Equilibrium Rebalancing Cream Cleanser
Yes, it’s described as a cream cleanser but it has a luxuriously lathering pH-balanced formula that leaves my skin feeling smooth and squeaky clean but without any dryness! Read on for all the nitty-gritty details….

Full List of Ingredients:
Glycerin, Potassium Cocoyl Glycinate, Water/Aqua, Butylene Glycol, Polyglyceryl-10 Myristate, Glyceryl Stearate Se, Glycol Distearate, Citric Acid, Fragrance/Parfum, Propanediol, Phenoxyethanol, Limonene, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Linalool, Citronellol, Agastache Mexicana Flower/Leaf/Stem Extract, Phosphatidylglycerol, Lecithin, BHT.
KEY INGREDIENTS
• Cell Balancing Complex™ – A powerful combination/blend of youth lipids (phospholipids and prolipids) that rebalances, restores and renews the skin barrier.
• Agastache Mexicana Flower Extract – Preserves moisture and helps soothe skin for youthful radiance.
• Glycerin – A humectant that seals in moisture. It’s the first ingredient on the list and protects skin from dryness or discomfort through its moisturizing properties.
Not to mention, the formula is free of sulfates and harsh surfactants such as SLS (which can be drying or irritating especially for sensitive, dry skin like mine)
Hourglass Equilibrium Rebalancing Cream Cleanser has a lightweight cream formula that creates a luxuriously rich, creamy lather. It’s very gentle yet effective and removes excess oil, dirt and pollutants leaving my skin thoroughly clean and refreshed with a soft after-feel — not at all dry or tight.
I can easily use this cleanser twice a day, morning and night, without worrying about my skin’s natural moisture barrier being stripped. And did I mention, it has a light fresh scent that’s lovely…I really enjoy it!
This cleanser also does a great job of removing light makeup. If I am wearing a full face of makeup and/or water-resistant sunscreen, I always use a cleansing balm first and then follow up with this Hourglass cleaner.
This cream cleanser rinses away easily too, leaving behind no pore-clogging residue, for skin that always feels balanced and completely clean. My only gripe is the $52 price tag…ouch!! How I wish it was a bit cheaper!
Bottom Line
This is one of the best cream cleansers I have ever tried! It cleans everything on my face in one go and keeps my dry skin happy and hydrated! And I love it’s luxuriously lathering formula that makes me look forward to using it every day.
If you love foaming cleansers but haven’t found one that’s gentle, pH-balanced and cleanses thoroughly without stripping away skin’s natural moisture, Hourglass Equilibrium Rebalancing Cream Cleanser ticks all the right boxes! That said, spending $50+ on a face cleanser is definitely a splurge. But if you can afford it, give it a try for sure!
Available at Sephora for $52. It also comes in a mini size (0.91 oz) for $25. You can also find it at neimanmarcus.com and beautylish.com
