Attention Inkey List fans! The brand has launched two new products that help you achieve a brighter, healthy complexion – Fulvic Acid Brightening Cleanser and Symbright Moisturizer.
Designed to be suitable for all skin types, these two brightening products are great for anyone struggling with dull and uneven skin tone. Let’s get into the details of each product…
The INKEY List Fulvic Acid Brightening Cleanser ($10.99)
A gel cleanser that gently cleanses and exfoliates the skin. This cleanser also has soothing benefits and works to promote a more even skin tone. It’s good for all skin types, including those with sensitive skin.
KEY INGREDIENTS:
0.5% Nordic Peat: Naturally high in Fulvic Acid, which helps to gently exfoliate skin. Fulvic Acid is proven to act as a strong antioxidant with anti-inflammatory properties.
1.5% Kakadu Plum Complex: Rich in Vitamin C, containing 50x more than an orange, it helps to instantly boost skin’s radiance and luminosity.
1% Licorice Root Extract: A potent antioxidant with soothing benefits, it helps to reduce hyperpigmentation and brightens overall skin tone.
0.5% Aloe Vera: Helps soothe and calm skin
This cleanser has a watery gel like texture that forms a light lather. It is very gentle and does a good job of dissolving dirt and impurities, without leaving my skin feeling dry or tight. I like to use this as my morning cleanser as the first step in my skincare routine. Here’s a texture shot of the cleanser…
However, for removing makeup, I did not find this cleanser effective enough to get the job done in one go. So if I am wearing makeup, I use a cleansing balm first and then follow up with this cleanser as the second step. Available at Sephora for $10.99
The INKEY List Symbright Moisturizer ($11.99)
Containing 0.5% Symbright® produced through the fermentation of the plant clary sage, the Inkey List Symbright Moisturizer works to improve the appearance of uneven skin tone while also optimizing skin’s moisture and hydration levels. It’s good for all skin types, including those with sensitive skin.
KEY INGREDIENTS:
0.5% Symbright – Helps brighten and improve the appearance of uneven skin tone.
2% Kakadu Plum Extract – Rich in Vitamin C, containing 50-100x more than an orange, it helps to instantly boost skin’s radiance and luminosity.
1% Red Algae Complex – Acts as a potent moisturizer, providing the skin with high amounts of minerals to provides long lasting moisture and hydration to the skin.
The Inkey List Symbright Moisturizer is very lightweight with a gel-cream texture that has such a silky feel going on the skin. It just melts into skin, absorbs quickly and leaves my skin soft and notably hydrated. Here’s a swatch below…
Since my skin is on the drier side, this moisturizer might not be hydrating enough for me during wintertime (when I need something super rich) but it’s great for the warm spring and summer months ahead! Available at theinkeylist.com for $11.99 and coming soon to Sephora!
Besides these two new additions, the INKEY List has a great lineup of other amazing and affordable brightening skincare products for radiant, healthy-looking skin
The INKEY List 15% Vitamin C and EGF Brightening Serum ($14.99)
This brightening serum combines highly stable vitamin C and plant-derived EGF to deliver a potent dose of actives that help brighten dull, stressed-out skin.
KEY INGREDIENTS:
15% Ascorbyl Glucoside (Vitamin C) : A potent antioxidant that helps brighten the look of skin and protect from environmental stressors.
1% Epitensive™: A plant-derived Epidermal Growth Factor system to support natural elasticity and skin health.
EGF is a signal peptide that helps skin regeneration and supports natural collagen and elastin within the skin’s matrix, while Ascorbyl Glucoside converts to pure Vitamin C on the surface for a brighter, more even-looking complexion. By pairing these ingredients together, this 15% Vitamin C and EGF gives your skin a double hit of cellular activity for brighter, younger skin. It’s formulated to be non-comedogenic.
This fragrance-free serum has a super lightweight liquid texture that absorbs instantly without any tacky or sticky feel. I apply a pea-sized amount to face and neck right after cleansing my skin.
It’s gentle enough for daily use in AM and PM, however if only using once per day they recommend AM. Also, if you would like to use other skin care products on top, wait around 10 minutes. This gives the skin cells enough time to respond to the EGF and it won’t affect the cell rejuvenation process. If using in the PM use on a different night to Retinol and AHA exfoliators.
Available at Sephora for $14.99
The INKEY List Polyglutamic Acid Hydrating Serum ($14.99)
A powerful hydrator for the skin’s surface, Polygluatmic Acid locks in moisture and helps the skin appear instantly smoother while providing a perfect base for makeup. Great for all skin types.
KEY INGREDIENTS:
3% Polyglutamic Acid Complex is a natural high molecular weight amino acid polymer that enhances skin moisturization.
2% invisaskin maintains moisture levels in the skin.
Holding four times more moisture than hyaluronic acid, this super hydrator creates a thin breathable film on the surface of the skin, locking in the moisture below while plumping and reducing the appearance of fine lines.
With a silky lightweight texture, this hydrating serum can be used as the last step before makeup, or you can also mix a pea-sized amount with your foundation for smooth application. Also, fragrance-free. Available at Sephora for $14.99
