I have repeated the sunscreen mantra many times now – Be UV-obsessed and apply SPF 30 or higher every day if you want to keep your skin younger-looking. Even 10 minutes of daily exposure to UVA “aging” rays can cause significant skin damage (hello,wrinkles!) and sunspots in a few weeks.
However, there are times when we all forget to reapply or don’t apply enough or simply don’t bother enough to cover up all exposed body parts. That is why we need to make up for it by regularly eating foods which boost skin’s defense against UV rays and even undo some of the sun’s damaging effects on skin.
