Hey lovelies, I finally got the legendary Urban Decay Naked Palette from Sephora during the recent Friends and family sale. Here is a pic of my haul….
- Urban Decay’s Naked Palette
- Tocca Florence perfume (travel sized)
Urban Decay’s Naked Palette has 12 neutral shades and also includes a Good Karma Shadow Brush and a mini Eyeshadow Primer potion.
To begin with, I love the sleek packaging in a velvet textured box with foiled gold lettering. I have been using the Naked Palette almost every day since it arrived, trying out different color combinations and love the array of neutral shades in shimmer, satin and metallic finishes. It’s such a versatile palette that offers something for everyone to create different looks from office-chic to summery bronze or deep smoky eyes. There are only a couple of matte shades which is just fine with me since I hardly reach for matte colors anyways. Some of the shades like Half Baked and Gunmetal have a little fallout but overall all the shades apply smoothly with an excellent color payoff and stay put without creasing or fading. My favorite shades in the palette are Toasted, Darkhorse, Smog and Sin.
I won’t be doing a full review since everyone has already raved about it so much and will just let the pictures speak for themselves. All I want to say is that Naked palette is a fabulous makeup buy and totally worth the hype! (why did I wait so long?)
