at-home laser hair removal systems but Tria Laser Precision is the first one I’ve tried on my face for permanent hair removal. And I am excited to share the results with you…it really works!
Looking for the best at-home laser hair removal device that is safe to use on the face? You have come to the right place! I am not new to theTria Precision Hair Removal Laser is a slim and ergonomic at-home hair removal laser (FDA approved) designed for smaller, more sensitive areas like the bikini line, face and underarms. (Men should not use it on their face due to the density of facial hair) Weighing less than a pound, this compact and lightweight device uses advanced diode lasers, which permanently disable the hair follicle by targeting the melanin at the root without damaging the surrounding skin.
Tria Precision Hair Removal Laser is intended for people with light to medium skin tones in the area they wish to treat. So, if you have medium to dark brown or black skin, this device is not for you. Also, if your skin color in a given area is not ideal for the laser, Tria has a skin sensor so you will not be able to get the device to work.
How to use Tria Precision Hair Removal Laser
Before using the Tria Laser Precision, first thing you have to do is cleanse, shave and dry the treatment area (waxing and plucking is not recommended any time between treatments). Next, turn the device on and select from one of three treatment levels. You can start at Low, and work your way up to the High setting (which is level 3). I started with Medium (level 2) and didn’t have any issues. Now hold the Tria Laser Precision on your skin until you hear a beep. After each beep, lift and place the tip on a new treatment area.
I have also been using Tria’s SmoothStart Calming Gel to prep my skin before each treatment. It contains an Indian plant extract with anti-inflammatory properties and helps keep skin cool and comfortable during the treatment.
The best thing I love about Tria Laser Precision is its sleek and perfectly-sized lightweight design that makes it very easy to hold and use, especially when it comes to curves and angles in small, hard-to-reach areas whether it’s under your arms or around your bikini line. It really makes treating my smaller, more sensitive areas a breeze! I can use it in the comfort and privacy of my own home, whenever I want and don’t have to worry about a thing!
I think the only drawback of Tria Laser Precision is its short battery charge that lasts only about 20 minutes, depending on the treatment level. It takes me about 15-20 minutes to complete my upper lip, chin and underarms so I make sure to charge it after every treatment.
Does Tria Laser Precision really work?
Yes. It does. Tria recommends treating once every 2 weeks for at least 3 months (or until desired result has been reached) for permanent results. For me, after 5 sessions, there has already been a massive hair reduction on my upper lips…no more lady mustache, yayy! I’ve also been treating my underarm area with Tria Laser Precision and although there has definitely been noticeably less hair growth there but the results haven’t been as fast as my face. I will be sure to update on the progress after I have used it for 3 months. I’m definitely looking forward to being able to toss on my workout clothes without ever having to worry about whether or not I shaved my armpits!
Wondering if Tria laser treatment hurts? Yes, it does feel pretty uncomfortable. I find the heat sensation at level 3 quite intense both in the underarm and upper lip area and that’s why I have been doing the treatment mostly at level 2. The discomfort is definitely a little too much for me to handle but still not a deal breaker.
Bottom Line
Tria Precision Hair Removal Laser definitely gets my seal of approval! It’s the right at-home laser treatment device for anyone who wants permanent hair removal on face and more sensitive areas like the bikini line or underarms. I’ve been really impressed with the results I’ve gotten after just about more than a month of using it!
Tria Laser Precision’s portable and lightweight design is so convenient, hassle-free, safe and super easy to use. Not to mention, the cost of this device is so much cheaper than what I would have had to pay for a professional laser hair removal treatment. Tria gets the job done for a fraction of the cost making it an affordable laser luxury at only $299! I really think it’s a smart investment if you are considering laser hair removal.

definitely attract a large number of people. This is indeed a very convenient

Hi, can you post your update on your facial hair removal with your Tria? Was it worth the investment?

Kelleylu Yes, for me it worked well especially for the upper lip area, not so much for the underarms though!
