When it comes to haircare, the more moisturizing, the better if you ask me! And today I’m excited to introduce you to a haircare brand that’s perfect for perpetually parched tresses like mine…L’ANZA Healing Haircare.
With the power of Keratin Amino Acids, Healing Actives, and Triple UV Protection (UVA, UVB, UVC), L’ANZA has something for every haircare need with their targeted collections, including Keratin Healing Oil, Healing Colorcare, Healing Moisture, Healing Volume, Healing Curls and more. All L’ANZA products are free of sulfates, parabens, gluten and sodium chloride.
I have been trying out a few products from L’ANZA Keratin Healing Oil Collection that is especially great for dry, damaged hair…
L’ANZA Keratin Healing Oil Shampoo and Conditioner
This luxurious healing shampoo and conditioner is designed to replenish vital Keratin Protein to restore hair’s volume, strength, and health. The creamy shampoo lathers well even without any sulfates and rinses out easily without leaving my hair feeling stripped.
As for the conditioner, it works well in combination with the shampoo and does a pretty good job of smoothing and hydrating. Both the products are also gentle on my color-treated strands. Another plus is their subtly sweet, musky floral kinda scent that’s quite nice!
L’ANZA Keratin Healing Oil Intensive Hair Masque ($33)
This deep intensive conditioning treatment is formulated with Lanza’s Phyto IV Complex (a special blend of Abyssinian flower oil, Coffee seed oil, Acai fruit oil and Babassu kernel oil) to replenish moisture while boosting elasticity and shine.
The directions suggest applying to damp hair and leave in for 5 to 10 minutes (20 minutes for severely damaged hair) and then rinse it thoroughly. The rich, creamy formula is super hydrating and I love how it leaves my strands soft, silky smooth and nourished. Also, it washes off easily without leaving a residue or weighing down my hair at all. I like to use it once a week for an extra dose of moisture.
L’ANZA Keratin Healing Oil Combing Cream ($32)
I have raved about this product before (even in my favorite Amazon finds) but it’s totally worth the praise again! This amazing leave-in cream does it all: detangle, moisturize, tame frizz & flyaways, shorten drying time, and protect hair from UV rays and heat damage. How’s that for multitasking?
Not only does it instantly nix knots after shampooing, but also leaves my hair super soft & silky smooth without ever weighing them down. Dry, rough unruly hair doesn’t stand a chance against this creamy potion! Not to mention, it makes my hair smell oh-so-good!
L’ANZA Keratin Healing Oil Treatment ($35)
If you are a fan of leave-in hair oil treatments, this one is a must-try! With an ultra-healing blend of Keratin Protein and Phyto IV Complex, it offers triple UV protection and thermal protection up to 500º F while reducing drying time by 65% and adding shine!
Just use a small amount throughout freshly washed damp hair (avoiding the root area), then blow dry or style as desired. A little goes a long way but even if you end up putting a little too much like I did the first time, it won’t make your hair look greasy. I can feel the difference in my hair after I style (blow dry/flat iron) with this product!
L’ANZA Keratin Healing Oil Cleansing Cream ($30)
I am not new to cleansing conditioners/creams and have tried quite a few. They are a gentle lather-free alternative to traditional shampoos with harsh detergents and sulfates. This one by L’ANZA is a light cleansing formula that cleans and refreshes hair while protecting your hair color.
Wet your hair thoroughly and then apply an ample amount of this cleansing cream to fully saturate hair from roots to ends. Now, massage gently, adding more water if needed and then leave in for 2 minutes before rinsing. There’s no need to follow up with a separate conditioner.
This cleansing cream leaves my hair thoroughly clean, soft and bouncy…no oily residue or weighted down hair. The formula is not as rich and luxuriously moisturizing as the popular WEN cleansing conditioner but then if you prefer a lighter version, you might find it better than WEN!
Bottom Line
If you have super dry, damaged or color-treated hair and looking for a gentle reparative and hydrating hair care line, L’ANZA Healing Haircare is certainly worth trying out! It can really help provide a revitalizing boost to dull, lackluster locks and make your hair look healthy again! I love that the whole range is sulfate-free and color-safe and easily available on Amazon.com and jcpenney.com.
