NEW Biore Brightening Skincare Collection

PR samples Biore has introduced a new brightening skincare collection designed to banish pore buildup and reveal fresh, bright skin in just one week.

The Biore Brightening Collection of products are made with the brand’s proprietary Japanese technology, TRIS (Tromethamine) to improve tone and texture. TRIS works differently by seeking out protein-laden impactions in the skin, dissolving and breaking them down so they can be easily removed after rinsing with water.

Additionally, the new brightening products are formulated with yuzu lemon, ginseng, grapefruit, dragon fruit and papaya which work together to smooth and brighten dull skin.

Biore Brightening Jelly Cleanser ($6.49)

This jelly cleanser is specially formulated to dissolve and remove stubborn, pore-clogging dirt and impurities for a deep clean, without stripping your skin. The formula includes Yuzu Lemon, a natural source of Vitamin C, known to balance and brighten skin, and Ginseng, a botanical root known to energize and brighten skin.

The directions suggest massaging the cleanser gently across your face for a full 60 seconds to maximize the pore cleansing action. And then rinse thoroughly for 30 seconds with lukewarm water to flush it away. The active ingredients in the cleanser emulsify the clogged oils and buildup so that they can be rinsed out easily.

This jelly cleanser is gentle enough to be used one to two times daily. It does a pretty good job and leaves my skin clean and refreshed, without being drying.

Biore Brightening Exfoliating Scrub ($6.49)

This creamy exfoliating scrub helps refine & polish pores to improve skin tone and texture. The ocean-friendly formula (no microplastics) contains alumina, a natural mineral exfoliant that re-texturizes & revitalizes uneven skin.

Added to the skin-smoothing abilities of this scrub are a brightening blend of yuzu lemon and dragon fruit, known for its soothing, moisture balancing & clarifying properties.

This is a really good face scrub that gets it right! The tiny scrub particles feel ultra-fine rather than abrasive or gritty and provide gentle physical exfoliation, leaving my skin instantly softer and smoother. And did I mention, it has such a refreshing citrus scent!

If I had to pick my favorite product in the Biore Brightening skincare collection, this scrub definitely tops the list. It really helps to revive dull skin for an instant boost of brightness and can be used 2-3 times per week.

Biore Brightening Clay Mask ($6.49)

This clay mask lifts dead skin cells and debris while brightening skin for a smoother, more radiant complexion. Boosted by TRIS, the formula is infused with Vitamin C rich Yuzu lemon and Papaya (which has natural AHA fruit acid) that works to get rid of complexion-dulling buildup. Plus, Kaolin clay refines and smooths skin’s micro-texture.

Texture-wise, this clay mask has a creamy-smooth formula that applies easily. You just need to leave it on for 3-5 minutes, and then rinse thoroughly. With 4-5 uses per pouch, this mask can be incorporated into your routine twice a week.

Since my skin is on the dry side, I don’t use clay-based masks very often since many of them can be too drying. While this Biore mask didn’t leave my skin feeling uncomfortably dry or tight (thanks to its glycerin-infused formula), it’s highly fragranced which I didn’t like. For me, subtle fragrance in skincare is ok but this mask’s scent is a bit too strong.

Overall, it’s a nice clay mask if you don’t mind the fragrance, especially for congested and oily skin. It can help clear up clogged pores, reduce blackheads and keep those breakouts (caused by ‘maskne’) away.

With C Bond technology, these strips work like a magnet, locking onto and lifting out deep-down dirt, oil and even blackheads. In just 10 minutes it cleans weeks’ worth of dirt and oil buildup. Available exclusively at Walmart, these pore strips have a light and refreshing citrus scent.
