✨Urban Decay 24/7 Inks Liquid Eyeliner✨

Ergonomically designed with an ultra-sharp tip, this @urbandecaycosmetics liquid eyeliner claims to be water- and smudge-resistant and comes in 9 vibrant colors. Perfect to create an everyday natural look, cat-eye wings or intricate graphic liner looks.

I love how this liquid eyeliner is so easy to apply! The ultra-fine tip glides on smoothly to draw thin or thick lines without skipping or dragging. The formula is also highly pigmented with a great color payoff!

I instantly fell in love with this shade called Hi-Energy (blue shimmer) It’s so beautiful and vibrant, and always gets me compliments whenever I wear it!

Now let’s talk about the longevity! I didn’t find this eyeliner formula to be smudge-resistant or super long-wearing. It smudges a little bit if I happen to touch my eyes by mistake.

And even when there’s no smudging, my liner doesn’t look as crisp and vibrant by the end of the day. The color seems to lose a bit of its intensity and fade a little through the day.

This is actually very surprising because all the Urban Decay products I’ve ever used are very long-lasting so I was hoping the same from this eyeliner.

Overall, I really like this eyeliner when it comes to colors and ease of application but it lacks the all day staying-power. Considering the $26 price tag, that is disappointing!

✨ @drunkelephant Protini PowerPeptide Serum: Contains 10% lactic acid and 11 signal peptides. Effective and gentle! Improves skin tone and texture, and gives me glow plus hydration

✨ @theinkeylist Polyglutamic Acid: So hydrating and affordable too! Also works well as a smoothing base for makeup

✨ @solarasuncare Soothing Mineral Sunscreen: Very lightweight with a matte finish, great for all skin types. Leave NO white cast at all. Fragrance-free

✨ @fleurandbee Just Dew it Hydrating serum: Hydrating and soothing with a lovely, lightweight texture. Has a light fragrance.

✨ @theinkeylist Hyaluronic Acid: Affordable and fragrance-free. Not my most favorite HA serum but pretty good!

✨ @kiehls Ultra Facial Overnight Mask: Formulated with 10.5% Squalane. Provides intense hydration, leaving skin supple and moisturized. Feels a bit greasy, but it was great for winter dryness.

✨ @farmacybeauty Honeymoon Glow AHA Resurfacing Night Serum: Contains 14% AHA/BHA plus soothing honey and hyaluronic acid. Great for revitalizing dull, dry skin. I really like it overall but sometimes it tingles my skin.

@hudabeauty Creamy Kohl Longwear Eye Pencil ($21) Vs @maybelline Lasting Drama Matte Eyeliner ($5.99)

I have been a longtime fan of this Maybelline eyeliner (860 Jet Black) It’s waterproof and highly pigmented with a creamy matte finish, and applies smoothly without skipping. I use it almost everyday on my waterline and it gives me rich color payoff that lasts long!

Recently I saw the Huda Beauty creamy kohl eyeliner at @sephora and got the black shade (Very Vanta) to try on my waterline. This one is also waterproof with a creamy matte finish formula that glides on very smoothly, and it’s super pigmented + long-wearing.

Does the Huda beauty eyeliner perform better than the Maybelline one? Well, yes…I think it’s a bit more creamy and pigmented than the Maybelline version but lasts almost the same amount of time on my waterline. And of course, the matte black color is the same!

On my waterline, I don’t see a drastic difference between the two eyeliners in terms of color payoff, smoothness/ease of application and longevity. Basically, they are pretty much the same 🙌

So, I will stick to my trusty Maybelline eyeliner that’s only $5.99...it’s fantastic for the price 🤩

I won’t hesitate saying that Maybelline Lasting Drama Matte Eyeliner ($5.99) is a great affordable alternative (dupe!) for HUDA BEAUTY Creamy Kohl Eye Pencil ($21)
