I’m feeling the love for It Cosmetics lately. Already addicted to their brand new CC cream and Vitality Lip Flush Butters, I am now enamored with another fabulous product (albeit not new) from the brand – Vitality Cheek Flush that’s a cheek stain infused into a powder! The Vitality Cheek Flush not only stains cheeks for all day wear but is also enriched with anti-aging powerhouse ingredients.
Developed with plastic surgeons, this hydrating and brightening blush gives the perfect naturally pretty flush of color to the cheeks and lasts. Infused with It Cosmetics’ Hydra-Luxe technology which features ingredients such as amino acids, plum oil, cherry oil, hyaluronic acid, pomegranate, seaweed extract, grape seed, aloe, and jojoba that all work together to give your cheeks a boost of healthy hydration. What’s more, the formula is also packed with a good dose of antioxidants, including vitamins A, C, and E, acai, green tea, and white tea to ward off free-radicals. Plus, it’s free of any nasties like talc, parabens, sulfates, mineral oil, petrolatum, synthetic fragrances, and phthalates and is hypo-allergenic and non-comedogenic.
The shade I have been trying out is Pretty in Peony – a peachy pink with soft golden shimmer (blush crush!). It’s incredibly pigmented so you’d need only a light dusting of this blush on your cheeks to get a gorgeous flush of color. If you happen to over apply, dust a bit of foundation or finishing powder over the top to soften.
The blush has very finely milled shimmer that translates to a subtle golden sheen, giving your skin a lovely lit-from-within-glow! The formula is also very easy to blend and doesn’t accentuate any fine lines or enlarged pores. But what really sets this blush apart is the wear time! It truly lives up to its claim of being a long-wearing blush stain and lasts all day beautifully (perfect for the hot and humid summer months!)
As you can see from the swatch above, Pretty in Peony looks similar in color to the ever popular NARS Orgasm. But is it a dupe for NARS Orgasm blush? Not exactly. Pretty in Peony is a bit more pink than peach and has a delicate luminous sheen (as compared to the shimmer overload that NARS Orgasm is on my skin) which makes this one an all-around winner for me!
