February Empties

Can’t believe February is over already! 2014 seems to be going too fast or is it just me?

Anyways, another month means another empties list. I didn’t have much to show you last month so I skipped January. All right, let’s get started with this month’s empties!

 
Paula’s Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant – This leave-on exfoliant is one of my ‘holy grail’ skincare products! It’s truly a multitasking wonder that’s great for treating acne breakouts, enlarged pores and blackheads all at once! The 2% salicylic acid based formula gently exfoliates to remove old skin cells on the skin’s surface and also inside the pores clearing away excessive sebum and debris. And it’s also very reasonably priced at $23 for 4oz. Needless to say, I have already repurchased!

Apivita Wine Elixir Anti-wrinkle and Firming Night Cream – I really liked this rejuvenating, antioxidant-rich night cream with a silky, lightweight formula for my dry, sensitive skin. It also contains salicylic acid for gentle exfoliating action thus improving skin texture. The only downside was the jar packaging but overall a great product!

Omorovicza Gold Shimmer Body Oil – This aromatic and deeply hydrating oil makes your dry skin look as good as it feels (thanks to the light reflecting gold particles!). In addition to the anti-inflammatory gold, it contains skin-softening apricot kernel oil, carrot oil and rice germ oil. The nourishing formula absorbs quickly and leaves skin silky-smooth with a subtle glow to your skin – no tacky shimmer here.

Jan Marini Physical Protectant Broad Spectrum SPF 45 – I loved this oil-free, tinted sunscreen that combines broad-spectrum UVA and UVB protection (only physical sunscreen actives) with multiple antioxidants to boost skin’s free-radical defense and prevent premature aging. The lightweight formula has a sheer tint that blends beautifully to even out the skin, leaving a satiny semi-matte finish. And because of the sheer tint, there’s absolutely no white cast!

Fiafini Exceptional Skin Serum – This revitalizing serum contains African marula oil that provides omega-infused hydration to increase elasticity and neutralize free radicals. The silky formula just slips on the skin, absorbing super quickly and feels weightless. And it’s also all-natural and fragrance-free making it a gentle option for those with sensitive skin.
