Nothing says summer beauty like radiant, glowy skin! Just in time for summer, Gerard Cosmetics by Whitening Lighting has introduced their newest product – the BB Plus+ Illumination Facial Crème. A twist on the traditional BB Cream, the BB Plus+ Illumination is formulated with light reflecting particles and golden shimmer to add a youthful glow to your complexion.
· Can be used alone, as a cream highlighter or mixed with your favorite liquid foundation
· Blurs imperfections and corrects discoloration
· Universal shade adds radiance to any skin type or tone
BB Plus + Illumination has a creamy soft, iridescent consistency with golden shimmer. It comes in a single, sheer shade that blends really well on my fair-medium skin. It can be used in a variety of ways – either alone, as a cream highlighter or mixed with your favorite liquid foundation. My favorite way of using this is adding a little bit to my liquid foundation/tinted moisturizer for a subtle all-over glowy, radiant look. It also works really well as a highlighter/illuminator on my face to impart a luminous & healthy skin look, without appearing over-the-top shimmery. Just be sure to use it with a light hand – one little pump of the creme is enough to make your skin looking radiant and fresh. My other highlighters are white or silver-toned, so it’s really nice to have this neutral, skin-toned one in my stash! It’s the perfect replacement for my long-time favorite Smashbox Artificial Light Luminizing Lotion!
The formula has a light moisturizing feel but if your skin is very dry, you might want to mix it in with lotion when used alone or put this on top of already moisturized skin. Of course, laying by the pool, you’ll want to put this over sunscreen!
The BB Plus+ Illumination Facial Crème is available for $36 ($1.69 oz) at whiteninglightning.com.

That’s a really pretty shade! I wasn’t expecting it to be so luminous, but it’s really lovely looking. I’ve been hearing more and more about this brand lately.

daydream_beauty I am loving it! And I think the neutral shade is universal enough for most skintones.
