Rimmel london has introduced another new product designed in collaboration with Kate Moss. It’s the Kate Sculpting Palette that comes with a trio of pressed powder shades to highlight, contour and define for a radiant, healthy glow!
Rimmel Kate Sculpting & Highlighting Kit Features :
- Soft shimmer powder to highlight (cheek bone, brow bone, centre of the chin and bridge of the nose)
- Matte Shading powder to contour (nose, jaw line and forehead)
- Powder blush for color and definition.
There are three palettes for different skin tones : #001 Golden Sands – for fair skin, #002 Coral Glow – for fair to medium skin, #003 Golden Bronze – for medium to dark skin
I have the Coral Glow palette that has been designed for light to medium skintones and I found it to be a pretty good choice for my complexion. First off, let’s talk about the packaging. Athough there’s nothing fancy about the plastic compact, the rose gold edges is a nice touch that definitely makes the kit look prettier! Moving on to the formula, the powders have a soft, smooth texture that’s easy to apply and blend. The highlight shade is a soft champagne with subtle shimmer…pretty! The blush is a matte coral pink which is nicely pigmented and lasts fairly well too.
As for the contour shade, it’s not super pigmented but great for a natural, everyday contoured look….it adds a soft warmth to my complexion and although matte, the silky formula doesn’t look dull or flat on the skin! I don’t reach for the contour shade very often, as I am not too much into contouring, but I do like what this palette has to offer.
Overall, Rimmel London Kate Sculpting Palette gets my seal of approval. For just $6.99, it’s a really nice little easy-to-use kit that gives you 3 shades to highlight, contour and blush and add a touch of healthy radiance to your skin! The compact kit can easily be tucked in your purse for quick touch-ups and it’s also great for travelling! Available at Walgreens, Target and other drugstores nationwide.
