Discover the new pro finish of longwear: up to 24 hour wear with a hydrating glow. Lightweight and creamy, this long lasting foundation goes on smooth with a glow finish that lasts. With medium coverage, it instantly hides imperfections for a clear complexion. The hydrating foundation with SPF is ideal for normal to dry skin.
Sometimes the word “glowing” or “luminous” on the packaging actually turns out to mean “loaded with shimmer” but thankfully that’s not the case with L’Oreal’s Pro-Glow foundation. It’s not a shimmery, sparkle-infused glow-y foundation that can make you look like a disco ball…I hate those! In fact, I didn’t see any obvious shimmer or glitter in this formula, even in sunlight, and I like that!
L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation is available in 12 shades and I picked up 205 (Natural Beige) which turned out to be a nearly perfect match for me. In the tube, it looked a little lighter for my skintone but the formula oxidizes a bit (gets darker) so the shade worked out well for me.
The foundation has a creamy fluid consistency that goes on really smooth and blends easily with a very lightweight feel on the skin. As with any foundation, I wear this one over a lightweight hydrating primer or moisturizer and it doesn’t feel like an extra/heavy layer on my face.
Despite being pretty lightweight, L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation doesn’t disappoint in the coverage department! It really lives up to its claim of providing great medium coverage and I like that the coverage is also buildable, so I can easily layer a little more on my problem areas like acne scars and dark spots.
As for the longevity, the coverage holds up really well throughout the day (of course I didn’t wear it for 24 hours, but who wants to sleep in their foundation, anyway?) I wore it for about 10 hours the other day and it did’t cake or settle into my fine lines and pores. Also, I’ve had no breakouts after wearing this stuff for a good 5 days in a row…score!
As I said before, there is no noticeable shimmer or sparkle in the formula. The finish is more satiny and perks up my dull skin with a dewy, healthy-skin glow that I love! There’s no unwanted shine or greasiness so I think this foundation would be suitable for most skin types (except for those who prefer a completely all-day matte finish). Here’s a swatch of the shade number 205 (Natural Beige)
L’Oreal Paris Infallible Pro Glow Foundation ($12.99) ticks all the right boxes for me! Great coverage with a dewy fresh finish, lightweight feel, and long-wearing…I think I have finally found a drugstore foundation that’s almost as good as my high-end favorites like this one.
